Steffen Greubel

Dr Steffen Greubel has been Chairman of the Management Board of METRO AG since 1 May 2021 and has been appointed until 30 April 2024. From 1 April 2022 he is also appointed ad interim Labour Director.

He has been employed by the Würth-Group since April 2014, initially as Executive Vice President and then, from 2019, in the Group Management. Prior to this, Dr Steffen Greubel worked for the management consultancy McKinsey & Company. The trained banker graduated from the University of Witten/Herdecke in 2000 with a degree in economics; he received his doctorate from the University of Magdeburg in 2006.
