Leanna Brown has had a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Leanna began their career as an intern at the Office of Senator Johnny Isakson in 2009. In 2013, they held various positions at the University of Georgia, including as a Program Assistant for the Washington Semester Program and as a Government Relations Assistant. Leanna also interned at Dentons, a law firm, during this time. In 2017, they became a Government Relations Associate at The University of Georgia. Leanna joined the Metro Atlanta Chamber in 2018 as the Director of Government Affairs before being promoted to Senior Director of Government Affairs and ultimately Vice President, Business Climate and Talent Development in 2021.
Leanna Brown earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs from The University of Georgia in 2010. Leanna then went on to pursue a Master of International Policy degree at the same university from 2010 to 2012. In addition to their academic achievements, Leanna also obtained a certification as an Open Water Diver from PADI in 2011.
