Dan Gabbard is an accomplished supply chain professional with extensive experience in logistics and operations. Currently serving as Vice President Supply Chain at Metro Inc. since April 2016, Gabbard previously held the role of Senior Vice President Logistics & Supply Chain at Walmart Canada from 2012 to February 2016. Earlier career milestones include serving as President of Supply Chain Management Inc. (a division of DHL/Exel), as well as various leadership positions at Canada Bread (Maple Leaf Foods) where responsibilities included Vice President Logistics and Director of Procurement. Gabbard also gained valuable experience as Logistics Manager at Canadian Pacific Railway and Transportation Operations Manager at Loblaw Companies Limited. The foundational years include service as a Logistics Officer in the Canadian Forces from 1991 to 1997. Gabbard holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the Royal Military College of Canada.
