Peter Wheatley has a significant amount of work experience in the construction industry. Peter served as a Project Director at Metro-Can Construction, starting in January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Project Manager for the same company from April 2019 to January 2022. Before joining Metro-Can Construction, Peter was a Project Manager at Wesgroup Properties from April 2017 to March 2019. Peter also served as a Project Manager at ITC Construction Group from December 2015 to April 2017. Additionally, Peter worked as a Senior Project Manager at Ventana Construction Corporation from January 2013 to December 2015. Peter has a extensive experience with Scott Construction Group, where they held various roles including Senior Project Manager, Project Manager, and Project Coordinator from 2004 to 2012. Peter began their career as an Assistant Project Manager at Smart Centres from January 2000 to May 2004.
Peter Wheatley attended St. Patrick's High School in Sarnia, ON from 1984 to 1989, where they obtained a diploma in general studies. Following that, they enrolled at Toronto Metropolitan University from 1989 to 1994, earning a Bachelor of Technology in Architectural Science with a focus on Project Management. Additionally, Peter has obtained several certifications, including Procore Certification from Procore Technologies in 2019, Gold Seal Certification from the Canadian Construction Association in 2012, and LEED Green Associate certification from the Canadian Green Building Council in 2011.
