Amiya Samal

Amiya Samal has extensive experience in the retail and merchandising industry, currently serving as Vice President of Buying and Merchandising at METRO Wholesale India since March 2012, after progressing through various leadership roles including Senior General Manager and General Manager of Buying and Merchandising. Prior to this, Amiya worked at Reliance Retail from February 2007 to March 2012 as National Category Manager in Buying and Merchandising, as well as serving as Manager of Category and Merchandising. Amiya’s career began at Amul (GCMMF) from August 2000 to February 2006 and later at Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable Pvt. Ltd as an Executive in Sales.
