Dominica Smith

Dominica Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public and government relations, currently serving as Senior Director of Special Projects in the Office of the CEO at Los Angeles Metro since March 2020. Previously, Dominica held the position of Director of Communications at Circlepoint and served as Government Affairs Officer at the Port of Long Beach for nearly nine years, where responsibilities included developing relationships with legislators and managing legislative priorities. Earlier roles included Government Affairs Analyst for the City of Long Beach and Records Management Specialist at the Long Beach Police Department. Dominica's educational background includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Management Information Systems and a Master of Public Administration in Public Policy Analysis from California State University, Long Beach, along with further studies at the University of California, Los Angeles, and the University of Southern California.
