Kolja Sauerberg

Kolja Sauerberg is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in supply chain management and product development. Currently serving as Chief Product Officer at METRO Markets GmbH since January 2019, Kolja also oversees ERP, product data, vendor support, and drop shipment functions. Previously held roles include Head of Supply Chain Management at METRONOM GmbH and Head of Supply Chain Planning at Metro Systems, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing demand and supply planning systems across multiple Metro Cash & Carry countries and leading supply chain transformation programs. Earlier positions include Senior Consultant for International Procurement & Logistics at Metro Group Solutions and Innovation Project Manager at METRO AG. Kolja holds a Diplom-Wirtschaftsinformatiker degree from the University of Münster and participated in an exchange program at the University of Melbourne focused on Information Services and Supply Chain.
