Alexandra Whetzel

Alexandra Whetzel serves as the Executive Assistant to the Chief of Staff at Metro Nashville Public Schools since November 2023, following a role as Senior Staff Assistant for Nashville Mayor John Cooper from March 2022 to November 2023. Previously, Alexandra co-founded Velocity Portraits and served as Director of Operations at Legacy Photo Company, achieving significant revenue growth and strategic operational oversight. Experience includes leadership positions at Nashville Ballet, where Alexandra managed significant budgets and personnel, as well as coordination of major fundraising events at The Washington Ballet and the National MS Society. Alexandra holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Business and French from the University of Delaware and a Master's in International Relations with a focus on International Development from American University.
