Elizabeth Evans is an experienced educator currently serving as an Instructional Coach for Numeracy at Metro Nashville Public Schools since July 2019, working with teachers in grades Kindergarten to 5th to enhance math instruction. Previously, Elizabeth taught fourth grade math and science at Whitsitt Elementary, where roles included team lead and math lead. Earlier teaching positions included third grade at Stamford American School in Hong Kong, second grade at J.E. Moss Elementary, and a residency at Town School for Boys across first and third grades. Additionally, Elizabeth contributed to Georgetown Preparatory School as an ESL Summer Program Counselor and served as a Sociology Research Assistant at Colgate University. Elizabeth holds a Master of Education in Elementary Education from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Education from Colgate University, with plans to pursue an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership at Lipscomb University.
