Ian Mitchell Wallace

Ian Mitchell Wallace is an art educator currently teaching at Metro Nashville Public Schools since August 2023, while simultaneously serving as a substitute teacher for Glenbard High School District 87 since February 2021. With a diverse background in arts education, Ian has worked as a professional freelancer for M.A.D. since 2007, providing individualized guidance in artistic disciplines, and has held teaching roles at Young Rembrandts Franchise, Naperville Park District, and San Francisco Art Institute. Ian's educational qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts in Studio Art from the San Francisco Art Institute and a double degree in Studio Art and Euphonium Performance from Lawrence University. Previous experience also encompasses sales and graphic design roles, showcasing a versatile skill set in both artistic and customer service environments.
