Safina Kimbokota is an experienced educator and visual artist with a background in fine arts. Currently serving as an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Dar es Salaam since February 2014, Safina specializes in teaching practical visual arts, including metal sculpture, textile printing, painting, and drawing. In addition to this role, Safina has been an Art Teacher at the School of St Jude since 2011 and previously held the position of Visual Art Teacher at Feza International School from January 2013 to February 2014, where valuable experiences were gained with students. Prior to these teaching roles, Safina operated Safina Art Studio at Nafasi Artspace from October 2012 to February 2014. Safina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fine and Performing Arts from the University of Dar es Salaam, earned between 2008 and 2011.
