Tonisha Cook

Tonisha Cook, M.Ed., currently serves as the Grants Coordinator for Metro Nashville Public Schools, where responsibilities include engaging stakeholders, managing fiscal budgets for federal grants, and overseeing the allocation of approximately $20 million in Turnaround School Improvement Grants. Additionally, Tonisha is the Owner and Consultant at Education Equity Unlimited, focusing on federal grant monitoring and providing technical assistance to enhance grANTEE compliance. Previous roles include Federal Programs Manager at Memphis-Shelby County Schools, Education Associate at the Delaware Department of Education, and Title I Grant Compliance Specialist at The School District of Palm Beach County, where noteworthy accomplishments involved developing grant proposals and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Tonisha holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Tennessee State University and is pursuing an Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum Instruction Management and Administration at Nova Southeastern University.
