Kayla Winchester has had a diverse range of work experiences in the field of physical therapy. Kayla started their career as an Assisted Exercise Volunteer at the Center for Balance, Mobility, and Wellness from September 2012 to May 2016. In 2015, they worked as a Physical Therapy Intern at Harmeling Physical Therapy & Sports Fitness for a three-month period. Kayla then gained further experience as a Student Physical Therapist at Elite Physical Therapy from October to December 2017, and at Plainview Hospital in May and June 2018. Kayla continued their education in physical therapy and worked as a Student Physical Therapist at Peak Performance Physical Therapy for two months in early 2019. In the same year, they had another student role at Health Solutions Physical Therapy from May to August. Kayla's professional career as a Physical Therapist began at Elite Physical Therapy in November 2019, where they worked until May 2021. Currently, they are employed as a Home Health Physical Therapist at Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy, starting in March 2021.
Kayla Winchester pursued their education starting in 2012 at Gordon College, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2016. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at Touro University in 2016 and completed their Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2019, with a field of study in Physical Therapy/Therapist. In addition to their academic achievements, they obtained certification in CPR and AED from the American Heart Association in November 2019.

The beautiful spa-like outpatient offices offer heated salt water pools, full fitness centers, and state of the art equipment including game ready ice compression, electric stim, cold laser and ultrasound heat. Our therapists spend 60+ minutes with every single patient and our patient outcomes are high because of how experienced our therapists are.
