Michael Rose

Michael Rose is an experienced Operations Manager at Metro Ports since July 2018, specializing in vessel operations, project planning for bulk material import/export, and cargo supervision. In this role, Michael oversees the coordination of Longshoreman and contract labor, ensuring client satisfaction and operational efficiency, while conducting safety briefings to comply with OSHA standards. Concurrently, Michael serves as a Project Manager and Stevedore at Rivenbark Contractors, managing the safe transportation of 200k MTons of products annually. Prior work experience includes serving as a Maintenance Technician at Duke Energy Corporation and as an Electrician at Day & Zimmermann. Michael holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Biology from Caldwell Community College and a transfer degree in Business Administration from Cape Fear Community College.
