Karen A. Wilson has had a diverse work experience, starting as the owner of their own temp agency in 1988, which they managed until 1991 while raising their child as a single mom. Karen A. Wilson then owned and operated a construction firm with their husband from 1991 to 2002, specializing in custom patios and decks. In 2001, they joined Metro Public Adjustment, Inc. as a Public Insurance Adjuster and worked to assist property owners, particularly victims of SuperStorm Sandy, with filing property damage claims. In 2017, they became an Educator for Homeowners at Advocate, where they advocated for homeowners who were denied insurance claims. Lastly, in 2019, Karen started their own online store, Karen's Marketplace, as an additional income resource. Throughout their various roles, Karen has consistently shown a passion for helping others and addressing the needs and struggles of property owners.
