Jacqui Allen

Jacqui Allen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in human resources and workplace relations. Currently serving as the General Manager of People and Safety at Metro Tasmania Pty Ltd since January 2023, Jacqui previously held the position of Assistant Director Strategic Recruitment and Payroll Operations at the Department for Education, Children and Young People for a brief period in late 2022. Prior to that, Jacqui acted as the Executive Director of People and Culture at the Department of Communities, where responsibilities included leading a 35-employee team through significant organizational changes. Other notable roles include Assistant Director of Safety, Wellbeing and Workplace Relations at the Department of Communities Tasmania, Manager of Workplace Relations at the Department of Education, Tasmania, and Senior Associate at Phillips Taglieri. Jacqui's academic credentials include a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and a Bachelor of Laws, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce from the University of Tasmania.
