Sharon Dayal

Sharon Dayal has over three decades of experience in event coordination, currently serving as the Director of Event Coordination at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre since August 1989. In this role, Sharon oversees a team of 20 professionals across the Event Coordination and Exhibitor Services Departments, managing daily employee and client concerns, Ministry reporting, client and exhibitor evaluations, and high-level strategic problem-solving. Prior to this position, Sharon held various roles within the Toronto Sheraton Centre, including Assistant Director, Event Coordination and Convention Services Coordinator. Sharon holds a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Humber College, completed between 1982 and 1984.
