Charles Robinson

Charles Robinson has extensive experience in training and operational leadership roles within the aviation and transportation sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Training at Metro Trains Melbourne since December 2019, Charles previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer and Deputy CEO at Pilatus Defence Solutions Australia until December 2019. Charles's career with Airservices Australia spanned from January 2007 to December 2019, where responsibilities included managing Initial Training for Air Navigation Services. Charles's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Tasmania, an Advanced Diploma in Military and Strategic Leadership from the Canadian Staff College, a Diploma in Project Management from the Australian Institute of Management, and multiple advanced diplomas and certifications from the Royal Australian Air Force in areas such as Air Power Studies and Air Traffic Control.
