Dewan Grant

Dewan Grant, PHR has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and areas of expertise. Most recently, Dewan is the Director of Human Capital & Talent Development at Metro Transit Omaha. Prior to this role, Dewan co-founded the Greater Omaha Jr. NBA League, a licensed youth basketball league.

Before venturing into sports, Dewan served as the Human Resources Director at FAMILY, Inc - Iowa from 2019 to 2022. As part of this role, Dewan was responsible for directing and managing human resources functions within the organization.

Earlier in Dewan's career, they worked as a Senior Human Resources Consultant at InsurPayroll, where they provided executive-level HR direction and services to small and medium-sized businesses. Prior to that, Dewan held the position of District Manager at ADP, where they implemented policies and benefit programs and trained businesses on payroll and HRIS systems.

Dewan also brings experience in sales, having worked as a Territory Sales Representative at Grainger. Additionally, Dewan has educational expertise, having served as an Education Consultant - Workplace Solutions at Kaplan.

Dewan Grant, PHR completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications - Organizational Communication at Bethany Lutheran College from 2004 to 2008. They later obtained a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Amberton University. Dewan also holds several additional certifications, including Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, and various LinkedIn certifications in areas such as compensation and benefits, diversity and inclusion, HR strategy, talent management, and utilization of HR metrics.
