Marnie Larson

Marnie Larson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and management across various sectors. Currently serving as VP of HCM Practice at OnActuate since March 2022 and holding the positions of Board Chair and Director for the South Coast Transportation Authority Police Service at Metro Vancouver Transit Police since April 2020, Marnie also contributes as a Director on the Board of Community Living BC until December 2024. Marnie's prior tenure at StarGarden Corporation spanned from June 1996 to October 2022, where significant roles included CEO and Chief Operating Officer, overseeing management, strategy, product development, and operational efficiencies. Marnie's educational background includes an MBA from Simon Fraser University and a BCOMM in Industrial Relations Management from The University of British Columbia. Metro Vancouver Transit Police

Metro Vancouver Transit Police is the only police service in Canada that is dedicated to policing a transit system while aiding in the provision of justice and enforcement of the laws of British Columbia. Transit Police jurisdiction is the entire transportation service region, including 144 km of rail, 63 stations, over 1,500 buses, 200 bus routes, and one passenger ferry route – an area crossing twenty-one municipalities and one First Nation, served by a combination of seventeen independent police forces and RCMP detachments.
