Robin Randhawa is an experienced law enforcement professional with a Bachelor's degree in Law Enforcement Studies from the Justice Institute of British Columbia and a Certificate in Law Enforcement Preparation from the Nicola Valley Institute of Technology. Since September 2017, Robin has served as a Constable with Metro Vancouver Transit Police, following a tenure as a Constable at the Vancouver Police Department from February 2016 to September 2017. Additionally, Robin pursued further education at The University of British Columbia from October 2020 to September 2021.
Metro Vancouver Transit Police
Metro Vancouver Transit Police is the only police service in Canada that is dedicated to policing a transit system while aiding in the provision of justice and enforcement of the laws of British Columbia. Transit Police jurisdiction is the entire transportation service region, including 144 km of rail, 63 stations, over 1,500 buses, 200 bus routes, and one passenger ferry route – an area crossing twenty-one municipalities and one First Nation, served by a combination of seventeen independent police forces and RCMP detachments.
