Amil Lindsay is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in wastewater treatment and operations engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer for Metro Vancouver since February 2013, Amil provides critical engineering support to ensure compliance with environmental standards, oversees project execution from concept design to onsite supervision, and has advanced through various roles including Senior Project Engineer. Previously, Amil was employed at Sanitherm, where responsibilities included managing technical aspects of water treatment projects and supervising multidisciplinary teams. Earlier career roles included Utilidor Systems Officer for the Government of Nunavut, where management of water and wastewater systems was essential, and Mechanical Engineer with the National Water Commission in Jamaica, overseeing specialized maintenance and improvement projects. Amil holds a Master of Sciences in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Fluid Mechanics from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the West Indies.
