Heidi Lam

Heidi Lam is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy and planning analysis, primarily in the public sector. Currently serving as a Senior Policy and Planning Analyst at Metro Vancouver since March 2017, Heidi has previously held roles including Planning Data Analyst and Planning and GIS Technician at the District of Mission, where responsibilities included conducting spatial analysis and coordinating cross-department GIS initiatives. Prior experience at the District of Kent involved developing a strategic GIS plan and providing technical support across departments. Earlier roles include GIS Assistant and Communication and Research Coordinator at Projects in Place Society. Heidi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from The University of British Columbia, an Associate Certificate in Project Management from British Columbia Institute of Technology, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Rural and Urban Planning from Langara College.
