In the current role as Division Manager of LWS Engineering, Design, and Construction Collection Systems, Joan leads the Technical Knowledge Group to enhance project management and operational performance. Previously held positions include Senior Engineer, overseeing projects like the North Shore Wastewater Treatment Plant, and Project Engineer, where impactful contributions involved developing water quality protocols and optimizing water distribution operations. Earlier career experience at UMA Group Ltd included conducting flood studies and developing stormwater management plans. Joan holds a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering, both from The University of British Columbia.
