Laurie Ford

Laurie Ford is a seasoned Senior Project Engineer at Metro Vancouver, responsible for contractor oversight and managing consulting contracts for the North Shore Wastewater Treatment Plant since July 2006. As Program Manager for Utility Residuals Management, Laurie leads a team overseeing multiple programs with an annual operating budget exceeding $20 million and is involved in stakeholder presentations and technical reporting. Laurie’s previous roles include Senior Engineer for Secondary Treatment Upgrades and Senior Project Engineer for Residuals Management, where responsibilities ranged from project scope development to budget management and stakeholder engagement. Prior experience at R.V. Anderson Associates Limited as Sustainability Practice Leader and Project Manager included innovative design solutions and environmental assessments for water treatment projects. Laurie holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Environmental Engineering from Queen's University.
