Shawn Wood

Director of Clinical Quality and Human Development at Metro West Ambulance

Shawn Wood has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Shawn started their career in 1987 as a Ski Instructor at Powder Hounds Ski School. In 1995, they worked as the Eastside Food and Beverage Manager at Mt. Bachelor. Following that, they gained experience as a Sous Chef at Cafe Azul from 1995 to 1998 and Ken's Home Plate/28 East from 1998 to 2004.

In 2010, Shawn took on the role of Deputy Medical Examiner at Washington County for a brief period of time. Eventually, they joined Metro West Ambulance in 2003 as a Senior Paramedic/Field Training Officer. Over the years, they progressed within the company, serving as the Clinical Manager from 2016 to 2023.
