Carmen L. Morales has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Carmen L started their career in 1995 as a Service Coordinator at Movimiento Alcance Vida Independiente. In this role, they coordinated services for individuals with disabilities in the southern region of Puerto Rico and managed consumer records.
In 2001, Carmen joined INDEPENDENT LIVING CENTER-CEPVI INC as an Administrative Officer. Carmen L was responsible for coordinating board and committee meetings, organizing new hire paperwork, and ordering office supplies. Carmen L worked at this company until 2015.
From 2016 to 2018, Carmen worked as a Preschool Teacher at Head Start of Greater Dallas. Their responsibilities included conducting in-home visits, establishing daily routines for students, and supervising a group of 16 students.
Currently, Carmen is employed at Metrocare Services, where they initially worked as a Bilingual Intake Coordinator from 2018 to 2020. In this role, they conducted intake assessments and provided support to bilingual clients. Carmen L then transitioned to the position of Business Officer Coordinator in June 2020.
Throughout their career, Carmen has gained expertise in administration, coordination, and education. Carmen L has consistently demonstrated their ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
Carmen L Morales attended the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico-Ponce, PR from 1988 to 1994. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. In addition to their formal education, Carmen also acquired various certifications. Carmen L became a PDS Specialist-Bilingual through The Council for Professional Recognition in April 2019. In May 2018, they obtained a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential from the same institution. Carmen also completed a 30-hour Occupational Safety and Health Training course in General Industry offered by OSHA in October 2012.

WHO WE ARE Metrocare is changing minds! We are North Texas' leading nonprofit dedicated to helping people with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and severe emotional problems live healthier lives. The primary disorders treated by Metrocare include depression, bi-polar, schizophrenia, anxiety, autism, ADD, and ADHD. OUR OPPORTUNITIES Metrocare hires psychologists and psychiatrists (bilingual and Spanish-language skills are needed and valued). We have research programs, and we train a new generation of mental health professionals for work in the public sector. OUR SERVICES Metrocare serves over 50,000 people annually. We provide adult mental healthcare services, including medication management, children and adolescent mental healthcare services, mental retardation/developmental disability services for adults and children, early childhood intervention services, primary healthcare services for families, pharmacy services, and social services that include housing services, occupational services, and foster care training and monitoring. OUR CLINICS Our 14 clinics and satellite clinics (including 7 main clinics) include two Centers for Children with Autism. Clinics are in Dallas, Grand Prairie, and Addison.
