Molefe Donald Tsoana

Molefe Donald Tsoana (MBA) has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Molefe Donald started their career as a Civil Engineering Intern at Aurecon, where they gained experience in urban water services design, infrastructure assessment, and land development design. Later, they worked at the University of Cape Town as a Lecturer's Assistant for Structural Engineering and Hydrology Engineering, where they assisted with teaching and research in those fields. Tsoana then joined Huawei Technologies, where they held the positions of Planning Engineer and Planning Head Engineer. In these roles, they were responsible for implementing best engineering practices, managing projects, and ensuring network expansion to support revenue growth. Currently, Tsoana works at MetroFibre Networx as the Head of Business Unit: Metro-I, where they lead a team and oversees operations. Their experience includes network management, project planning, and implementing new technologies.

Molefe Donald Tsoana holds a Master of Business Administration and Management (MBA) from Wits Business School, which was obtained from 2021 to 2023. Prior to this, they completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Structural Engineering and concrete materials from the University of Cape Town from 2013 to 2015. Molefe Donald also has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering from the University of Cape Town, achieved from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their academic achievements, Molefe has obtained various certifications, including Certified Optical Network Associate (CONA) from TRANSAFRICAN FIBRE SERVICES C.C in 2020, and a Certificate of Merit Perfomance from Huawei Technologies in 2016, among others.
