Naeem Gabru

Naeem Gabru is an experienced technology executive with extensive leadership in information technology across various sectors. Currently serving as Group CIO at Metrofile since May 2019, Naeem previously held the position of PMO/Workday Programme Manager at Webber Wentzel from November 2017 to April 2019. As Managing Director at Systemix from October 2016 to November 2017, Naeem led strategic initiatives, further building on prior experience as CIO of Maitland, which oversees a multijurisdictional organization with $165 billion in assets. Naeem's earlier roles include Head of IT for Retail Affluent Distribution at Old Mutual, where oversight involved approximately 5000 users and 100 IT staff, as well as strategic IT management positions at Cliffe Dekker. Naeem holds a B.Com (Honours) in Information Systems from the University of Cape Town and a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Administration, Management, and Information Systems from the University of the Western Cape.
