Adam J. Hopkins

Adam J. Hopkins serves as the Spectroscopy Product Manager at Metrohm USA since July 2016, leading product launches, overseeing the integration of acquired BWT product lines, setting strategic goals, and enhancing customer experiences, resulting in a 290% revenue increase in North America over five years. Prior to this, Adam held the position of Senior Scientist at Alakai Defense Systems Inc., where nearly $5 million in federal contracts were secured for Raman spectroscopy system development, and multiple projects were managed alongside university partners. Adam’s academic background includes a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Oregon, complemented by significant laboratory experience at Florida State University and Oak Ridge National Laboratory focusing on advanced spectroscopy techniques and methods.
