Heitor Alves

Heitor Alves is an experienced electronics engineering technician currently working at Metrol since May 2023. With a longstanding career as a freelancer starting in January 2000, Heitor specializes in video technology, including expertise in BARCO systems, multiprojection with Modul8, videomapping, and LED wall systems, along with a solid background in theater lighting. Previously, Heitor served as the lead sound engineer at ARC Recording Studio from April 2018 to May 2023, where recognition was achieved for recording, mixing, and mastering projects. Additionally, Heitor worked as an Arts and Heritage Technical Officer for Aberdeenshire Council and as an electrical test technician for Aker Solutions, focusing on subsea electronic modules. Earlier experience includes a role as a video and lighting technician at Backlight in Portugal. Educational qualifications encompass a secondary degree in Electronics/Electricity from Escola Secundária Fogueteiro and an IPC 620 B Certified Specialist in quality and process from Exmel.
