Joann Galarza Vega is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in photography and creative services. Currently serving as Production Lead at Metrolina Greenhouses INC since August 2023, Joann previously held the role of Associate Photo Producer at Lowe's Companies, Inc. for over a decade, where responsibilities included managing photography projects, CGI, and image post-production while fostering collaboration among stakeholders. Joann successfully improved efficiency through streamlined processes and maintained a positive work environment through mentorship. Additional experience includes project management in advertising content at Lowe's, keyword optimization at Gallerystock, and digital artistry at Ron Chapple Photography Inc. Joann holds a Bachelor of Arts in Visual and Performing Arts from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and an AAS in Photography, graduating Cum Laude from Thomas Nelson Community College.

Metrolina Greenhouses is a family-owned, wholesale plant and services company that started business in April 1972. We are the largest single-site heated greenhouse in the United States at 162 acres under roof. If you are familiar with the Charlotte region you could note that our size is comparable to 5 Concord Mills Malls which could fit inside the greenhouse! In addition we have approximately 15 acres of outdoor growing space and are still expanding. We also have a second location in York S.C. that has 175 acres of outdoor growing space.
