Asim Shafique

Asim Shafique has extensive experience in operations within the transportation sector, currently serving as an Operations Team Member at Metrolinx since May 2022. Prior to this role, Asim held various positions at the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) from February 2013 to July 2022, contributing to operations in the Greater Toronto Area's transportation and locomotives sector. Asim also worked as an SAP Basis Analyst for Thinkpath Inc. and as an Independent Contractor, executing four successful SAP implementations on time and within budget. Additional experience includes serving as a Help Desk Agent at Siemens Business Services from 1998 to 2002. Asim's educational background includes a Master's degree in Political Science from the University of the Punjab and a degree in Police Foundations from the National Academy of Health and Business Management in Mississauga, Ontario.
