Charetina Lougheed

Charetina Lougheed has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Charetina is currently working as the Director of Legal Services at Metrolinx since March 2022. Previously, they held the role of Senior Counsel in Claims Litigation at Economical Insurance from September 2021 to March 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Associate Counsel at York Region for six years, from February 2015 to September 2021. Charetina started their legal career as an Articling Student at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP in August 2009 and later became a Lawyer at the same firm from May 2010 to January 2015.

Charetina Lougheed received their education from multiple institutions. Charetina completed their Bachelor of Physical and Health Education and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Queen's University between 2001 and 2005. Charetina then pursued a Bachelor of Education from UT/OISE from 2005 to 2006. Lastly, they obtained their L.L.B. degree in Law from the University of Windsor, where they studied from 2006 to 2009.
