Chris Pearson

Chris Pearson, P.Eng. has over 15 years of experience in the engineering industry. Chris is currently employed at Metrolinx, where they have held several positions including Vice President of Commercial Management for LRT & BRT since December 2022, Director of Commercial Management for Rapid Transit from March 2021 to December 2022, Director of Commercial Management for Operations from August 2019 to March 2021, and Manager of Construction Contract Administration from February 2017 to August 2019. Prior to working at Metrolinx, Chris worked as a Restoration Engineer at RJC Engineers from May 2008 to June 2013. Chris also worked as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor at Cooper Kauffman Consultancy Ltd from September 2006 to August 2007, and as a Cost Engineer at Vermeulens Cost Consultants from February 2006 to June 2006.

Chris Pearson, P.Eng. holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Civil Engineering which was obtained from the University of Toronto between 2001 and 2005. In addition, they have obtained additional certifications such as the Canadian Rail Operating Rules - Foreman from CN in September 2013, the Professional Engineer certification from PEO - Professional Engineers Ontario in 2012, and the LEED AP certification from Canada Green Building Council - CaGBC in 2009.
