David Lilley

David Lilley is the Vice President of Track Engineering and Asset Management at Metrolinx since July 2022. With over two decades of experience at CN, David held various leadership roles including Assistant Chief of Engineering, Senior Manager of Track Standards & Technology, and Senior Manager of Training and Development. Key contributions at CN included developing and communicating track standards, optimizing engineering operations, managing large teams, and achieving significant improvements in safety and costs. David holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta. David's achievements include the 2014 President's Award of Excellence and record results in injury reduction and operational efficiency.
