Elyas Omid, MHRM, PROSCI®, SHRM-SCP, is an accomplished senior HR leader currently serving as the Senior Manager, Strategic HR Business Partner at Metrolinx since September 2023. With extensive experience in strategic HR partnership across various sectors, Elyas has effectively driven organizational growth and transformation while leading teams in alignment with business objectives. Previously at Wealthsimple, Elyas enhanced workforce performance for IT and engineering teams and implemented impactful talent development frameworks at RBC across multiple roles that involved strategic HR leadership in technology and operations. Elyas is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management from York University after earning a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management from Toronto Metropolitan University.
