Kelvin Yu

Kelvin Yu is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as Principal Engineer for Systems Engineering & Assurance in the GO Expansion division at Metrolinx since September 2023. Kelvin's role involves overseeing the implementation of lifecycle engineering practices across various projects. Prior to this position, Kelvin held the title of Chief Compliance Officer at Zown, contributing to innovation within the Real Estate industry. Notable past experience includes Senior Project Engineer for Rail and Transit at Hatch, leading the construction of an Automated Mining Rail Line, and Senior Systems Engineer at CN, managing Great Lakes Division Signals Design Projects and providing technical support. Kelvin's early career included significant roles in quality engineering and electrical design. Kelvin holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto and is also a licensed Real Estate Broker.
