Michael Digirolamo

Michael DiGirolamo is an experienced professional in the transportation and infrastructure sector, currently serving as the Director of Rolling Stock, Systems, Operations & Maintenance at Metrolinx since November 2019. In this role, Michael provides strategic leadership for capital infrastructure projects aimed at creating a regional rapid transit network while ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Previously, Michael held various leadership positions at AECOM, the City of Barrie, Bombardier Transportation, and Canadian Pacific Railway, where responsibilities ranged from managing transit operations to overseeing large-scale project management, contract negotiations, and financial accountability. Michael's extensive background includes expertise in operations analysis, regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement. Michael studied at George Brown College between 1995 and 1997.
