Nancy Pogue

Team Lead, Customer Communications - Metrolinx at Metrolinx

Nancy Pogue has extensive work experience in marketing and communications. Nancy started their career as a Blood Donor Clinic Coordinator at the Canadian Red Cross Society from 1985 to 1988. Nancy then worked as a Marketing Coordinator at Trilea Centres from 1988 to 1991, where they developed and coordinated advertising and marketing programs for a suburban community shopping centre. From 1991 to 2000, Nancy served as the Marketing Director at Yonge-Eglinton Centre Management Services, responsible for planning and executing marketing and advertising programs for a mixed-use commercial office and retail complex in Toronto. During this time, they also handled retail mall advertising, marketing, public relations activities, community outreach, corporate sponsorships, promotional partnerships, and special events. Nancy joined GO Transit as a Marketing Coordinator from 2000 to 2003, and later transitioned to the role of Team Lead/Supervisor - Marketing and Advertising at Metrolinx/GO Transit from 2003 to 2011. In this position, they managed marketing and advertising initiatives and coordinated sales and special events for the company. Nancy then became the Team Lead, Communications - Operations and Programs at Metrolinx from 2011 to 2015, followed by their role as the Team Lead, Customer Communications - Metrolinx from 2016 to the present.

Nancy Pogue has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Political Science from York University and a diploma in Business Communications from Humber College.
