Robert Pettigrew

Robert Pettigrew has extensive experience in rail traffic management and operations, with a career spanning over three decades in various roles within the railway industry. Currently serving as Manager - Rules Instruction and Manager - Rail Traffic Control Compliance at Metrolinx since March 2019, Robert previously held the position of Operations Controller at GO Transit from January 2017 to March 2019. Prior experience includes the role of Control Tower Supervisor at BOMBARDIER and Chief Rail Traffic Controller at Canadian Pacific Railway, where responsibilities involved the dispatching of passenger and freight trains, as well as implementing recovery plans during disruptions. Robert began their career as a Signalman with British Rail, effectively managing high-speed train operations. Educational background includes attendance at Brierton Comprehensive from 1975 to 1980.
