VP Energy Efficiency Services at METRON

Ignace de Francqueville has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Ignace first worked as a Research Engineer and Project Manager at EDF R&D from 1999 to 2004. Ignace then joined EDF as an Energy Efficiency Manager from 2004 to 2006. Following that, they worked at Edison spa as the Responsible of Energy Audit and Assessments department from 2006 to 2012.

In 2012, Ignace became the CEO and Energy Efficiency Expert at L'Énergie Srl, where they also strengthened the company's technical approach by joining the METRON group. Ignace held this position until 2019.

Later in 2017, they joined METRON SAS as the VP of Energy Efficiency Services, focusing on the digitalisation of energy systems.

Additionally, Ignace has been a Member of the Scientific Comity at ASSOEGE - Associazione Esperti Gestione dell'Energia since 2014.

In 2019, they became the CEO of METRON Italia Srl.

Ignace de Francqueville's education history begins in 1991 when they attended Lycée Sainte-Geneviève. Ignace completed a French university course preparing him for Engineer school, where they studied Mathematics, Physics, Geology, Biology, and Economy. From 1993 to 1996, Ignace attended AgroParisTech, where they earned an Engineer's Degree in Engineering, specifically in the food industry.

Later, in 2012, Ignace attended SECEM and studied Energy Management for a brief period. In 2020, they enrolled at CROSSNOVA and focused on Lean Six Sigma. Ignace became certified as a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma by Crossnova Academy in March 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Ignace obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2010, they became a Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP) through the Efficiency Valuation Organization and the Association of Energy Engineers. In 2013, they obtained the Lead Auditor ISO 50001 certification from SGS. In 2015, Ignace became an IPMVP Instructor - EVO L3 certified by the Efficiency Valuation Organization. In 2016, they acquired the ESCO UNI CEI 11352:2014 certification from SGS and Esperto in Gestione dell'Energia (EGE) - settore Industriale + Civile from SECEM Sistema Europeo per la Certificazione in Energy Management.
