Rafal Kicinger

Rafal Kicinger is a Principal Analyst at Metron Aviation, with experience leading various projects focused on weather impact assessment and predictive modeling for aviation stakeholders. Kicinger has been involved in significant FAA and EUROCONTROL-sponsored initiatives, including turbulence avoidance modeling and developing operational prototype systems for network weather resilience. Previously, Kicinger held roles as a Research Assistant Professor and Assistant Research Instructor at George Mason University, specializing in heuristic optimization methods and interdisciplinary research in engineering design and critical infrastructure protection. Additionally, Kicinger was a Product Manager at Nemetschek and holds a Ph.D. in Information Technology from George Mason University and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Warsaw University of Technology.
