Alexander Peterson

Alexander Peterson is an experienced Machine Learning Engineer currently employed at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory since August 2024 and a Data Scientist at LionLink Networks since January 2024. Previously, Alexander served as a Research Data Scientist at Metron, Inc. from October 2018 to December 2023, where contributions included applied R&D in mathematical modeling and algorithm development for various projects. Prior roles include Cyber Analytics Research Intern at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, Teaching Assistant and Grader at Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, and several research positions including a Biostatistics Intern and Virus Researcher. Alexander holds a Master of Science and Engineering in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering and dual Bachelor's degrees in Applied Mathematics & Statistics and Mathematics from The Johns Hopkins University, complemented by experience in the Budapest Semesters in Mathematics.
