Jim Ferry

Jim Ferry is a highly experienced Principal Research Scientist at Metron Inc., where since August 2004, responsibilities have included managing mathematically oriented projects related to military system testing, dynamic networks, data association and fusion, and machine learning, with a focus on probabilistic foundations for uncertainty management. Prior to this role, Jim Ferry held various research positions at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from May 1998 to August 2004, contributing to the development and implementation of algorithms for a complex multiphysics simulation of the Space Shuttle's solid rocket motor. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and both a Master of Science and Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Brown University.
