Marufa Chowdhury

Marufa Chowdhury, CSM, CSP, SSM, has over nine years of experience in agile project management, primarily as a Scrum Master contracted through Elixir Tech Consulting. Currently a Senior Scrum Master at MetroPlusHealth since August 2019, Marufa drives team visibility, removes impediments, and supports agile methodologies for effective product development. Previous positions include serving as a SAFe Scrum Master at Viacom, implementing agile practices across multiple teams, and a Scrum Master at Verizon, where Marufa facilitated over 50 Agile Ceremonies and tracked project progress for numerous stakeholders. Marufa began a career as a Business Analyst at HealthSpring, demonstrating strong skills in requirement gathering and analysis. Marufa holds a degree from Lehman College, earned from 2019 to 2023.
