Bramwell Simiyu

Bramwell Simiyu is an accomplished professional currently serving as the Chief Officer for Disaster Management & Coordination at the County Government of Nairobi since January 2023. Simiyu has extensive experience in enterprise development as an Associate Consultant and Head of the Enterprise Development unit at Metropol Corporation Limited, which focuses on business and credit information services across Africa. Additionally, Simiyu acts as a Managing Consultant at RegioTrade Limited, advising on trade facilitation and business strategy. As an Advisor for Networking and Partnerships at SME Africa Trust, Simiyu supports the growth of small and medium enterprises throughout Africa. Previous roles include Economic Advisor to the Governor at the County Government of Bungoma, Director at the Export Promotion Council, and Director of Operations at Silverstone Group. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Entrepreneurship from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, a BA from Kenyatta University, and an MBA from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
