Owner of iconic, award-winning recording complex, Metropolis Studios, and one of the world's leading contemporary music education facility, the Academy of Contemporary Music.

With a background in disruptive tech, Kainne invented tech and created a business from ground zero, aimed at pursued his vision to improving safety & reliability in the trail sector in the transportation industry . His ' black box' monitoring systems with self learning algorithms, were rolled out globally, predicting the onset of problems with critical infrastructure including level crossings, point machines & live monitoring of bridges under construction. In addition to being a finalist in the coveted Entrepreneur of the year award, In 2008 his company, CDSRail was awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation.

In 2013 Kainne took over control of Metropolis, the legendary recording complex, in London. Metropolis is the world's largest independently owned recording studio. On average, 78% of all Brit nominee's 60% of the UK's Top 40 Chart is recorded, mixed or mastered inside this legendary building.

Today , Metropolis is known as the very best studio anywihere in Europe and has scooped major awards from 'studio of the year' to mastering engineer of the year - three times running. This year, Metropolis is again short-listed for mastering engineer of the year and the best studio in the world and it has achieved this by staying true to it's core values and purpose; sonic excellence and customer. service.

Kainne has now placed exemplary music education at the core of his business interests. In 2014, he also acquired the Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM). ACM is a centre of excellence in the provision of “learning by doing” – the practical, vocational method of educating the next generation of performance, production and music business management talent. ACM's intrinsic link to Metropolis offers students, selected on merit, drive and potential, a unique connection to the real-world, real-time industry as it operates in 2016.
