Anthony Paul C. Yap

Anthony Paul C. Yap is the Senior Vice President at Metrobank. Anthony has held this position since July 2016. Prior to that, they were an intern at Asia United Bank in their Treasury Department from June 2016 to July 2016. There, they assisted in the liquidity management of the treasury department, handling both the nostro and the reserves accounts. Anthony also prepared daily news reports and market updates that contribute to the bank’s appropriate trading strategy for the day. Additionally, they conducted background research and collected pertinent data for the loan approval memorandum reports on the bank’s corporate borrowers.

From June 2014 to August 2016, Yap was also the Vice President for Special Projects at MaFIA (Management of Financial Institutions Association) where they organized and administered academic and non-academic activities that catered to the special interests of the student body. Anthony also managed and trained the junior officers of MaFIA on the responsibilities in the special projects committee.

In addition to their work at Metrobank and MaFIA, Yap was also a Communications Associate Program Core at BMS (Business Management Society) from June 2014 to August 2016.

Anthony Paul C. Yap completed their Bachelor of Science in Commerce at De La Salle University, with a Major in Management of Financial Institutions. Anthony also holds a High School Diploma from Lourdes School of Mandaluyong. In addition, Anthony Paul C. Yap has received certification from Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company as a Certified UITF Sales and Marketing Person, and from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) as a Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment Level 2.
