Ricardo D. Peña

Ricardo D. Peña is currently the Senior Vice President at Metrobank. Ricardo has previously worked as an Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from October 2017 to April 2020 and as the Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, Philippines at ANZ from March 2009 to September 2017.

Ricardo has a wealth of experience in managing middle and back office banking operations, global markets, trade, cash and lending operations, client service and credit administration functions. Ricardo is also experienced in managing Technology and Operational Risk Management functions, Property and Business Services, and Legal Services.

As a senior leader, Ricardo has sat on various management committees including the Executive Committee (EXCO), the Assets and Liabilities Committee (ALCO), the Credit Risk Management Committee (CRMC) and the Operational Risk and Compliance Committee (ORCC). Ricardo is also the chairperson of the Bank’s Health Safety and Wellness Committee.

Ricardo D. Peña has a Masters in Business Administration from the Asian Institute of Management with a focus in Finance and General Management. Ricardo also has an undergraduate degree in Economics from Ateneo de Manila University. Ricardo is certified in Digital Transformation, Managing Logistics, and Solving Optimization and Scheduling Problems in Excel from LinkedIn.
